Character story
A day in the life of my fish. She outlived (or ate) multiple tank mates, until she died in 2025. She was very food motivated and got excited whenever I returned from college because she knew I was the feeder. The tank was started by my brother in 2020 with shrimp and plants, though he trailed off taking care of it after awhile. In 2022, I took over the tank and then aquascaped it in 2023.
Now that there are no fish left in the tank, it only has plants, shrimp, and a snail. The shrimp and the snail eat algae, while the plants photosynthesize, making the tank basically self-sustaining. I just have to occasionally tidy the plants.
